Lenda met local farmers and agents and Rutherford County's Farm Bureau meeting.She talked about the impact farming had on her family growing up and childhood memories of picking apples and strawberries at her grandfather's farm.
Lenda continued her faith outreach on Sunday. She attended services at First Baptist Church and Cedar Grove Primitive Baptist Church in Murfreesboro. She also visited with some neighborhood residents before service started.
Lenda toured St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital today. She met with Gordon Ferguson-President and Chief Executive Officer of St Thomas Rutherford and Nancy Anness-VP of Advocacy and Access.
Lenda was at MTSU this evening to support Alpha Chi Omega and their campaign of domestic abuse awareness, education, and prevention.
